Allow faith leaders into nursing homes and other long-term care facilities!

Fellow Texan,

The members of the Texas Freedom Caucus believe that denying basic religious services is an unacceptable violation of your rights under God and Texas law.  We sent a letter this week to the Texas Department of Health and Human Services thanking them for cautiously opening nursing homes and other long-term care facilities to families for visitation, but also asking them to extend this policy to clergy and other members of the religious community.  You can read that letter by clicking here. 

Many of these neighbors of ours rely on their faith and have not had access to their faith leaders in months, and we believe this must change. We will monitor the situation and keep you updated. Thank you.
