Today, the Texas Freedom Caucus sent an open letter to all Texas public school leaders today vowing to support parents and teachers to make healthcare decisions that are in their best interests. In the letter, Caucus Chairman Rep. Mayes Middleton strongly cautions any school administrator from taking adverse action against any teacher, other staff member, or student who chooses not to wear a mask. He adds that the Freedom Caucus will stand with Texas teachers, parents, and students, trust them to make wise decisions, and support any legal action they take to ensure their individual liberty is respected.
